Eugene C. Travers practices land use and zoning law. He joined GoldmanHarris in 2011.
Upon graduating law school, Mr. Travers was awarded a prestigious CityLand Fellowship at the Center for New York City Law. As a fellow, he researched and wrote about issues related to land use and zoning throughout the five boroughs, including matters before the City Planning Commission, the City Council, the Board of Standards and Appeals, the Landmarks Preservation Commission, and the Environmental Control Board. The fellowship allowed Mr. Travers to gain a unique understanding of land use, planning, and zoning at the administrative level.
Prior to joining GoldmanHarris, Mr. Travers served as associate general counsel to a New York City real estate company that specialized in restaurant uses. He previously held internship positions with a private REIT based in New York City, a law office specializing in construction and real estate development, and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
Mr. Travers is certified as a LEED Green Associate by the U.S. Green Building Council.
